2025 Summer Maker Camp Schedule is Here!

Ignite your child's imagination at our Maker Camp, where creativity and learning come to life. At this unique camp, your child will not only build incredible contraptions but also gain hands-on experience with engineering concepts, such as simple machines, and discover how these ideas make ranch work easier. In collaboration with Miss Maker Inc. – a leader in STEM education for Coastside public schools – the California Riding Club invites young adventurers to explore the exciting intersection of engineering and ranch life through interactive, hands-on activities. Time: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Morning and aftercare options available)

Weeks: June 16 - June20, 2025; July 7 - July 11, 2025; July 21 - July 25, 2025; Aug 4 - Aug 8, 2025

Cost: $450 (Flexible payment plans available. Register today and pay over time.)

Dive into the exciting world of engineering by creating their own Nerf targets and obstacles for an action-packed Laser Tag course.

  • Design & Build: Campers will team up to brainstorm and construct their Nerf creations, turning their imaginative ideas into reality.

  • Test & Improve: Once their designs are built, they’ll put them to the test in our Laser Tag arena! They'll receive feedback, troubleshoot issues, and enhance their creations for even better performance.

  • Exciting Battles: After the hard work, there’s nothing like the thrill of battle! Campers will navigate their custom-built course and challenge friends in fun Laser Tag games.

Our experienced instructors will support them at every step, sharing tips and knowledge about engineering that will spark their creativity and problem-solving skills. Learn to use power tools and build big at Maker Camp!

  • Campers will have the opportunity to work with real power tools to construct impressive projects that will be used by the horses at the ranch! They’ll learn essential building techniques and safety measures along the way.

  • As they dive into their projects, your child will engage with experienced instructors who will guide them through the building process, offering tips on design, construction, and tool usage.

  • Working alongside fellow campers, they’ll collaborate on exciting group projects, sharing ideas and combining their skills to create something extraordinary.

Engineering Exploration

We are bringing back our Maker Camp’s greatest hits through our Engineering Exploration camps.

  • Learn about magnets, kinetic energy, simple machines & much more with projects that have been successfully tested at Coastside schools.

  • Unwind and decompress with our STEM centers where Campers can independently study topics that interest them.

  • Enjoy nature and spend time with our horses.
