Programs

More than riding lessons.

Riding, horsemanship, STEM and meaningful responsibility—designed to help children become confident, capable partners for their horses.

Riding Club — Ages 7+

Designed for riders ages seven and older, Riding Club is much more than a weekly riding lesson. Children learn to become capable, thoughtful partners for their horses through riding, groundwork, horse care, hands-on learning, and meaningful barn responsibilities.

Each meeting may include grooming and tacking, mounted exercises, arena challenges, groundwork, horse-centered science, and caring for the horse and barn afterward. Riders develop balance and coordination—but also patience, judgment, communication, problem-solving, and an awareness of how their actions affect the horse.

The Herd

The Herd gives children the opportunity to learn horse care, build practical horsemanship skills, and explore hands-on Saddle & STEM projects at no cost to their families.

It is also the gateway to our HERD Scholarship Program. Children who successfully complete The Herd earn a full scholarship to continue through Riding Club, ensuring that family finances do not determine how far a committed young horseperson can go.
