Ranch Engineering UnCamp

$110.00

Uncamp: One-Day Drop-Off Camp for Big Kids Who Need to Get Out of the House

Uncamp is a one-day summer camp experience for older kids who technically don’t need full-time care—but still need to get off their screens, out of the house, and into something hands-on. Each day includes fresh air, fun engineering projects, and maybe a few horses.

📍 1491 Sunshine Valley Road, Montara, CA | ⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Flexible drop in times. Roll in when they roll out of bed)

What is Ranch Engineering Uncamp, Exactly?

It’s what happens when you combine a STEM lab with a ranch and let kids loose—with supervision, obviously.

Each day, campers will:

  • Design and build ranch-inspired projects

  • Use real tools (saws, drills, clamps, hammers) in a supervised, confidence-building setting

  • Work outdoors with wood, ropes, buckets, PVC, nails, screws, and maybe a rogue pool noodle

  • Solve real problems using creativity, teamwork, and the occasional bungee cord

  • Maybe brush or feed a horse for fun

Sample Projects from Past UnCamps:

  • NERF obstacles

  • Pool noodle marble runs

  • Pony obstacle course

  • Camp clubhouse upgrades (designed by kids, built by kids, slightly reinforced by grownups)
